During my recent escape to Ella, I found myself at Backpackers Hostel, and let me tell you, it was a delightful little gem! Nestled close to the train station and city center, I loved how it made exploring the area a breeze. The dormitory was sparkling clean, with comfy beds adorned with cozy blankets-essential for winding down after a day of adventure. One of the standout features was definitely the warm hospitality from the family-run staff. Kasun, the owner, was not just helpful but also incredibly charming, offering us local tips and even sharing some family meals, which truly enhanced our stay. Plus, breakfast was a highlight-delicious and plentiful! The serene vibe here made it perfect for a relaxing retreat with my travel companions, without the typical party atmosphere.
